Sunday School
The Sunday School staff welcomes you and your child to Grace Church. Our Sunday School ministry supports parents by providing for the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of your children in a Christ-centered environment as you worship.
Purpose
With active learning, our teachers become guides, pointing the way for each child to discover biblical truth through hands-on experiences.
Classes
We offer Sunday School classes for age 2 through sixth grade at 10 a.m. For children in K-6th grade, we offer a Children’s Church experience during the 11:15 service. Children will be dismissed from the service after the welcoming announcements. Each class uses age-appropriate curriculum, manipulatives, and classroom structure to maximize learning. The Nursery is available for children aged 2 and under at 10 a.m. and for children aged 5 and under at 11:15.
Where Does My Child Belong?
•Placement is based on the child’s age as of October 1, or the child’s grade placement in school.
•New classroom assignments are made the first Sunday in September

Nursery
Our infant nursery is for babies from birth through 2 years of age (prior to October 1st of any given year).
Staff
The staff is made up of two paid nursery attendants who are skilled at creating a joyful, healthy, and secure environment. We play with, hold, rock, sing, and read to your little one. On occasion, we will utilize volunteers from Grace who are familiar with nursery procedures..
Child Safety
Here at Grace we strive to ensure that each and every child is safe and feels secure. We encourage consistency in the adults working with the children, use a sign-in system for our classes, employ a pager system in the nursery, and have our adults complete a screening process and training classes. We are dependent upon parents to utilize the systems we have developed and let us know of any special circumstances or incidents. Please feel free to discuss any concerns with our staff.

Saara's Cooking Camp:
The annual Saara’s Cooking Camp began in the summer of 2006 as a way for youngsters to learn about cooking while at the same time raising money to support Compassion Children. During the camp, the kids learn about how children live in other parts of the world while making pies, cakes, and other treats. The camp culminates with a bake sale. Volunteers are needed to help with baking and to supply the necessary ingredients. Grace Church Contact: Karen Reen (top)
Children's Easter Pageant
Saturday, March 28th at 7:00 p.m. & Sunday, March 29th at 2:00 p.m.
Our pageant is a touching and humorous story of some country folk who find themselves in the "big city" on the day before Easter and run into some colorful characters while getting themselves in a little bit of trouble. There's singing, dancing, and a meaningful lesson about the death and resurrection of Jesus. The children's department has been working hard and is excited to share our performance with you! Doors open 30 minutes before the show. We look forward to seeing you there! (top)
