Hi! I’m Pastor John and welcome to Grace Church! The thought of coming to a new church can be a little frightening; I know, I’ve been there. You may feel like you’re on the outside looking in. I was in the 9th grade when my family started attending Langhorne UMC in Eastern PA. It was intimidating and I can’t say I was thrilled, but it was a change that has forever marked my life. It was there that I decided to follow Jesus. I’ve tried life with Jesus and without Jesus, trust me it is so much better with Him.
To help you feel a little more comfortable let me tell you a little about myself. I, John A. Laughlin, Sr.:
Was born in 1964, that makes me 44.
Made the most important decision of my life in 1978 when I asked Jesus to forgive and lead me.
Graduated from Shippensburg University in 1987.
Began serving my first church in 1989 in the southern end of Lancaster County.
Graduated from Lancaster Theological Seminary in 1990.
Made the second most important decision of my life when I married my lovely wife Amy in 1990.
Am truly blessed to have 3 wonderful children: Teenage daughters Emily and Megan and son
Alex, 10.
Began serving at this amazing church, Grace Church in Millersville, in July of 2008.
Can be found coaching soccer or watching field hockey when I’m not in the office.

Grace Church is a great place to make friends as we together grow closer to God.
